How does OrCal® work? Comprehensively.

  1. Quickly and safely increases the soil pH
    Thanks to the rapid improvement of the soil pH, the availability and efficiency of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium and sulfur absorption by plants is increased. According to the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation in Puławy, at pH=7.0, the efficiency of absorption of macro-nutrients N, P, K is close to 100%.
  2. It provides natural macro and microelements
    OrCal® provides plants with the optimum pH in the root zone and the basic, natural nutrients contained in organic matter: calcium, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, iron and other micronutrients and minerals, as well as proteins, amino acids and trace elements.
  3. It fertilizes the soil and develops the plant root system
    The organic matter contained in OrCal® initiates the process of fertilizing deacidified soil. This results in an even faster acceleration in the uptake of macroelements by plants and, consequently, a better stimulation of cell division and plant development, especially in the root system, and above all root hair roots. A well-developed root system allows for more efficient uptake of nutrients and water.
  4. Plant biomass increase up to 40%
    Well-rooted and nourished plants thrive. According to research conducted by the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation in Puławy, OrCal® causes an increase in plant biomass from 20-40%. According to studies of customers using OrCal® products increase the protein content in cereal grains by about 30% in relation to crops not fertilized with OrCal® fertilizer. For example, in spring wheat fertilized with OrCal®, the average protein content exceeded 18% by weight compared to 13% of protein obtained in traditional crops.
  5. Strengthening plant resistance
    OrCal® strengthens the resistance of crop plants to pathogens and stress, such as droughts, heat, storms, hail, floods, ground frosts and frosts, air shortages caused by snow and side effects of the use of plant protection products.
  6. Limiting the pressure of harmful soil pathogens
    OrCal® effectively limits the development of some soil pathogens, fungal and bacterial diseases, pests, e.g. (nematodes, tubers).
